Main Street Studios was kind enough to let us borrow their giant gold glitter backdrop that really set the stage for the party. We paired it with black and white striped everything and hot pink flowers. The overall effect was such fun! Now I want a gold glitter backdrop for all of the things forever.
(Cutest Mom ever.)
(I managed to break many of the letters on my journey to Wichita from pure carelessness. With a little buttercream glue, they ended up looking okay(ish) for the party.)
(at the last minute, we could not locate black and white M'M's and substituted Sixlets instead. Warning: black sixlets turn mouths black. You've been warned. But they look cute.)
(cute pictures of baby Mom. She was a little doll. Still is.)
(The only problem with our gold glitter cake topper was the way it blended into our gold glitter backdrop. #problemsialwayswishihad)
On the backside of the invitation, Ellen designed a blank space for people to write notes and memories about Mom. We received so many and were able to give her a full book! The party was come and go and had a steady flow of people. With most of our family there, it felt like a party even before it started!
It was a great night celebrating a truly wonderful woman that I am blessed to call Mom.
Happy Birthday, Mom! We love you!
(shout out to my awesome siblings - y'all are the best. XOXO)
