6 Years Later . . . Happy Anniversary, Baby.

      Six years ago, we were entering a lifelong covenant with one another.  Today, we are dealing with the fact that lightning struck the transformer of our restaurant rendering us powerless (in so many ways . . .).  Six years ago, we were just beginning our life together.  Now, we are learning how to parent and still learning how to love one another better.  Six years ago, you were my best friend and I couldn't imagine life without you. Now, I know that God has put us together for so many reasons that I never could have imagined on that day.

      What a beautiful blessing.  Our marriage has had its ups and downs, just like any marriage.  But I am happy to say, that there are more ups than downs, and that I am more in love now than I have ever been. Thank you, John, for making my life richer and for helping me to be more like Christ.  I am eternally grateful for God's hand in giving us to one another, and I look forward to as many years as he gives us together.  Happy Anniversary.  It's been a good six years.
