COW APPRECIATION DAY 2013

This is one of my favorite holidays all year long.  It comes at just the right time in July when things are hot, and we need a nice air-conditioned, dressed-up diversion.  And, we often get to celebrate with lots of friends - can't be that!  (Here's links to 2011 and 2012)  Now I have four little cows to deck out, which was oh so fun.  I had all the girls' gear from the last couple of years and only had to make stuff for the babies, so that was nice.  In case you are wondering, I can write in cow font.  I got this question several times today, and I think it comes from years of practice.

Here are my cows before we headed to work-out class this morning.  At first one cow did not want to participate in the pictures, so here are three of them.

And then the fourth cow wanted in on the picture, but the oldest cow was done smiling, so this is what I got.



We headed to CFA for lunch with friends and had a blast seeing everyone, eating chicken and topping it off with ice cream.

(Always better to get ice cream from Daddy.)

Some of our friends went all global - isn't this adorable?  The cow prints are in a map shape, which took me a while to grasp, but once I did - oh the genius of it all?  (Keri is super closet-crafter.  Don't let her fool you.)
