MERRY CHRISTMAS CARDS

It's Christmas Eve, and my children are so excited about all that lies before us.  We will be making cupcakes for Jesus, attending church and having a yummy dinner, among other favorite traditions.  I wanted to share our Christmas cards from this year on the blog.  I did manage to get almost all of them mailed at the end of last week thanks to John's help.  I addressed while he stamped and sealed.  The cards are by Main Street Studios, including family pics by Luke and a design by Ellen.  They are a talented team indeed.

I love the way they turned out!  Thanks, Main Street Studios.

I'll leave you with a verse from my favorite Christmas Carol:

Oh holy night!
The stars are brightly shiningIt is the night of the dear Savior's birth!
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till he appear'd and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn!

I need to be reminded that all of us are pining for the appearance of our Savior and that the weariness of this world will not last forever.  What glorious hope, joy and peace we have in Christ.  I hope that your soul feels its worth this Christmas.  Merry Christmas Eve from the Spensts!
