MORE WEEKEND FUN

Sometimes it feels like we have a lot going.  When I look through the pictures from this past weekend (which also included Easter), I realize why it feels that way.  On Friday afternoon, Lily walked in the door after school chanting "Dyeing Eggs."  I had a promise that I needed to deliver on, so we headed out to the porch for some colorful fun that everybody got in on.

Saturday morning we headed to the Capital City Classic with friends.  John and Steven ran the 10K, cause that's how they roll.  There was a 1 mile run for kids, and our big kids all did it, and there was a 1/3 mile Tot walk that the babies barely completed.  They were so excited!

William didn't feel like walking once the big kids left, but the race organizer held his hand to get him started.

These two did manage to meander the 1/3 mile.

Lily and Emma totally rocked the mile and were beaming as they finished!

Bella finished with John, and Lily came to run the last bit with them again.

Of course we had to hit up the after race snacks to replenish.

We moms needed a picture together to prove we were there too.  We made it possible for all these runners to finish their races strong.

Directly after the race we headed to a super fun birthday party.  In Arkansas, many little boys grow up hunting, and this was a camo/hunting themed party for a six year old.  Good times.  My kiddos had a great time!

Violet saw all the kids doing the piƱata and picked up her own stick.  Everyone cleared a path to give her a chance.

It always cracks me up how our children dive for candy like they haven't ever had it before.

All in all, it was a great weekend packed with fun!
