TEXAS TRIP PART 1

Our best friends from college happen to live in Waco, and though we manage a trip with them every year, we haven't actually made it to Waco in ages.  In case you've been living under a rock, Waco has changed a bit in the past 5 years🀣, so it was such a treat to visit this time around and take in the fun that is Magnolia.

Our trip there was actually pretty decent as car trips go for us, and stopping at In-N-Out on the way certainly helped.

We met our friends at Magnolia, on Saturday afternoon, on Memorial Day weekend.  And while it was crazy hot, the crowds were beginning to die down.  What the Gaines have created there is so beautiful!  We so enjoyed seeing it all and eating and drinking everything we could get our hands on.

Our friends are getting ready to build a house, and we ate dinner on the property of their new neighborhood.  The kids loved playing in the creek and eating s'mores, and it truly felt as if our summer began.

This trip was so much fun that I broke it up into several parts for the blog, so there will be more fun to come!
