ADOPTION STORY

Our adoption story has truly been written by the Lord.  We stand absolutely amazed at what God has done in our family, and it was certainly exciting and at times nerve-wracking to see how everything would turn out.  We announced our adoption in this post, and you can read about my adoption heart change in this post.  This was a waiting picture that we took when we were hoping to get two boys from Ethiopia.

Everything changed dramatically on March 25, 2013, when we were approached by a family in Little Rock with the possibility of adopting twin boys here - Here's the blog post about that.

I posted quite a bit during the waiting time of April - here are some of those posts:
Waiting with a Heavy Phone
Surrender in Adoption
A Different Kind of Labor
On Remaining Optimistic

Then, things started to really happen.
April 22, 2013 - Twins were born here in Little Rock - a boy and a girl!
April 24, 2013 - After a roller-coaster day, birth-mom signs paper work to make the babies ours!
April 29, 2013 - We announce their names and show their pictures!

May 13, 2013 -  We officially become a Forever Family!

William and Violet are true blessings from the Lord, and we are so grateful for all the Lord has done to make us family.

"Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and the keep oneself unstained by the world."  James 1:27
