Today we traveled to Canada - which has so far proven to be a delightful place. I plan on blogging a bit during our trip so you can keep up with us as we traverse this great country. Our trip here with our two little friends was mostly really great. The low-light was when we were checking in, and the airline refused to let us use our double stroller from a little policy change that became effective June 1st. We got a little upset, and the lady at the counter was mostly heartless and also ridiculous. I may or may not have sort of shouted, "You're not sorry enough," to a lady with a perma-grin who had only sort of apologized to John for the gigantic inconvenience. It was not my best moment.
And in the end, we did get the stroller. The girls were better than we could have really hoped for, which is such a wonderful way to be able to look back at the flights. We did have the perfect added distraction of Aunt Ellen and Uncle Luke to help entertain Lily on hour 2.5 of the flight.
