LATELY

Since the New Year began, we've been easing back into normal life.  Here's a glimpse of what that looks like right now.

Birthday trips to the Museum of Discovery.

Sleeping wherever they fall during nap time.  They have been crawling back into their cribs during bedtime, and we have toddler beds just waiting to be assembled.

After bath time dance parties.  This time on the dresser, because we are cool parents and like to live on the edge.

We have someone who may end up being a bit of an organization nut, which we've seen coming for a long time.  She labeled the hooks.

Playdates with friends.

Late night snuggles and photobombs.

Visiting our eskimo first grader for lunch at school.  She's a bit obsessed with the faux fur.

Enjoying the indoors with this sweet kitty who always wants to cuddle.

Dealing with the aftermath of a very wet diaper - that is not a shadow across his shirt - that is urine.  Bless it.  With both twins on the loose during the naps, it takes them a lot longer to succumb to sleep. Often, I find that they have destroyed the room in the meantime.  Ahh, the joys of toddler twins.

Dealing with a broken chair that had been glued back together and then gave way in the middle of dinner with a guest at our house.  We like to keep things interesting.  The chair is now reposing on the back porch, and that folding chair is serving interim chair duty.

Taking in a UALR basketball game.  We have been selling CFA at the games, and its been going really well.  The team is rocking this season (15-1), so its fun to be there and be a part of that.  And even more fun when friends join us!

We've got birthday party fun coming up this weekend!  I'm excited to have it, and I'm excited for it to be done all at the same time.  Hope your 2016 is off to a great start.
