We had our D-Group Christmas Party last week, which was a delightful time with just adults to eat a lovely dinner together and then exchange gifts back at a friend's house. Good times - love these people so very much.

The girls and I, plus Rachel, did some of our holiday baking last Saturday. We turned on White Christmas, which the girls loved, and had a grand ole time.
(Adorable hats and aprons courtesy of my sister Ellen!)
We had our CFA Team Christmas party at our house last Sunday. It was quite the event, and we packed out our home. Our team brings food, which makes it so very festive and fun. There was a bounce house, Christmas Bingo, a gift exchange and the ever popular photo booth. Our store would not function without these wonderful people, so it is always fun to ring in the season with them!
(There were always willing hands to hold the twins!)
We were planning a Target run one night this past week, and John asked the girls if they wanted to wear anything from the Photo Booth. Of course they did. They also wanted us all to wear something crazy Christmas, so off we went. Certainly, subtlety is our specialty.
It really was fun. Now that I think back, that was actually Monday night, and we needed that pick-me-up. It has been a crazy week filled with cookies, mailing packages, mailing Christmas cards (finally!), and more cookies. It actually feels like we might slow down as Christmas itself approaches, and we are really looking forward to that. While there are always hard things going on behind the scenes, we are certainly blessed and thankful this holiday season
