The Central AR CFA operator team spent Friday night together, and it was a delightful time with excellent food and fun games. We were introduced to a very entertaining game where there is a "present" that is actually a bunch of presents wrapped in packing tape and bubble wrap. When it becomes your turn, you try to open it while wearing gloves - a tricky task indeed. You get to work on it until the person to your right manages to roll a six on the dice and snatches the gloves and present from you. I used my teeth more than once.
On Saturday, I actually worked at our mall location with John. Our Saturdays in December are pretty crazy busy there, and they wanted a little extra backup. Word to the wise: marry the person that you want to work crazy mall Saturdays with.
Sunday afternoon, we had our store Christmas party. While we've had it at our house for the past several years, we realized that we have outgrown that location with the two stores combined. So - we had the party at the Jack Stephens arena on the campus of UALR. This worked out fantastically well! The girls helped decorate the tree, and Violet was tons of *help* arranging the food that our team mostly brought. We had a huge spread, and everyone enjoyed getting second helpings of the delicious fare.
We did the gift exchange and also had a bouncy contraption and bounce house for people to jump on - you know, right after eating all that food. 😜
So much fun and so much work. Thankfully, it is a joy to create a great party for people who work so hard for us. But I am glad to be done hosting parties this year!
