CFA CHRISTMAS PARTY WEEKEND

This weekend has been a bit of madness at our house.  But, we are sitting here relishing the opportunities we had to be together with people that we work with and love.  We are so thankful.  And also really tired.

Friday night we drove to Hot Springs for a party with all of the CFA Operators from Central AR.  We were fabulously hosted by JR and Kristen who served us so well.  The party included family updates, a White Elephant gift exchange and a delightful walk through Garvan Gardens.  It was such fun to be together and share such commonality in work and life.  This team has worked hard to have good relationships, and it is a joy to share in the fruits of their labor.

The rest of the weekend we mostly spent preparing for the party we hosted at our house this afternoon.  Our CFA team party has been most successful in our home, but somehow this year, we had 140 people signed up to come.  We invite our team members and their families, and now that we have two stores, it is a ton of people.  This video could give you a small taste of what it was like - this is during the raffle for the door prizes.

But, because the weather was gorgeous, it all turned out all right!  There were people EVERYWHERE.  And, we had a petting zoo from Cockrill's Country Critters come, which was a huge hit.

Our team brings all the food, and we provide drinks and desserts.  All in all, it works out really well.

The piƱata is always a crowd favorite, complete with Spanish singing.

Being in CFA is really hard work.  But, it is worth it, and we are privileged to work with so many great people.
