TRIP TO THE STATE CAPITOL

We are trying to squeeze as much fun as possible into our last week of summer, so when Courtney suggested we take our crew to the Arkansas State Capitol, the answer was a resounding YES!  There is a special scavenger hunt that you can do with your kids, and we did start it, but it was a little over the heads of most of our crowd, since we looked like this.



Considering that people actually need to do their jobs in the Capitol, we needed to keep our group of 19 children relatively quiet.  We were mostly successful in this, and we enjoyed our time wandering through and trying to take in the bits of history we could gather with our posse in tow.

(There are elevators, but the children really wanted to do the stairs.  Works perfectly when you have three strollers. 😳😂 We tried to mostly use the elevators.)

After our nice air-conditioned but needing-to-control-the-noise walk inside, we went outside and let everyone run free.

More reasons to love our city and our friends.  After our Capitol tour, we hit up CFA for lunch to round out our morning of fun!
