When we went to San Francisco, our children stayed here in the wonderful care of grandparents and an aunt who came to help out plenty. When I was going through pictures tonight, I realized I had never blogged any of these. I'm so thankful to have family on both sides who willingly and graciously take care of our children in our absence. It has made all the difference for us this year - we've needed the time away and time together.
We spent the first night with them eating at Three Fold Noodle and walking around downtown enjoying a beautiful night.
They went about their normal business of playing, eating and playing some more. Sharon and Lenny did a great job getting everyone where they needed to be, and I didn't worry a bit about the kiddos while we were gone. (Except for Violet's overall health, but that's another story, and she did fine.)
They, just like us, got to see plenty of this face from William. He often cracks a smile after a while, as if he knows just how ridiculous it is. However, boy also knows how to stay angry. We've got to stay on our toes!
Thank you, Lenny and Sharon (and Rachel!) for taking such great care of our brood. It is no easy task, and you all rose to the occasion magnificently, for which we are so grateful.
