I'll lead off with this fun picture - we got to meet up with Framily for breakfast - SUCH a great treat!

Here's a run down of the first couple of days at Disney World.
Low: Both William and Violet had the flu right before we went. So all of the kids were on Tamiflu. 😩😩😩 This produced a lot of stress and anxiety right before the trip, but by the time we left, everyone was feeling good. I flew with the four kiddos by myself.
Low: Violet's nose kept bleeding on the plane. I had to get help from the stewardesses before take-off. Thankfully, they were kind and helpful, and her nose did stop bleeding, and we made it to Orlando without further incident and only a slightly blood-splattered shirt.

High: John already was checked in and waiting for us with our golf cart when we arrived, and Fort Wilderness really is a beautiful property, and we loved our cabin. Here's the porch.
High: Doing all of this with John - he really is the best.
High: After getting settled, we headed to the Contemporary Resort to eat dinner at Chef Mickey's. Our kids LOVED seeing the characters.

Low: Realizing that buffet meals with the twins were going to be a bit stressful, because there are lots of options and people, and it is a little overwhelming to get all of everybody's food and also make sure you see every character that comes by. So fun, but also intense.
High: Violet deciding to strike special poses with characters throughout most of the trip. Just watch for the pictures - they are so funny.
High: We had breakfast plans early in Magic Kingdom the next morning, so instead of relying on the regular buses, we got a "Minnie Van" service that dropped us right off. This is a newer service that utilizes Lyft and can be used throughout Disney property. It has car seats and is so convenient if you need to get somewhere quickly! And, they are cute!

Low: William wanted to ride in a "Donald Van" - NOT A THING - and cried through a lot of this quick trip.
High: Breakfast at Be Our Guest with friends. We tried the Grey Stuff, which was delicious, we didn't even have to ask the dishes.

High: We loved kicking off our time with some classic Magic Kingdom rides before we park hopped to Hollywood Studios for the rest of the day.

High: Mickey snack breaks. I always love good themed food.

High: We spent a nice afternoon taking in Hollywood Studios attractions, which the kiddos thoroughly enjoyed.

High: We rounded out this evening with dinner at Hollywood & Vine, which was great!

Low: Food allergies. We had to get an allergen menu at each restaurant, which Disney was great about. But then, Lily would go on to articulate every single one of V's allergies to our waiter, always sure to include cats and mold, which, thankfully, were never on the menu. 🤣🤣🤣
High: At the end of our evening, we wandered over to the Disney Junior section where there were no wait times to see any of these characters that are beloved by our children.

Clearly, we had more fun than we could even handle. I'll share more on the blog real soon!
