LIGHTS WITH FRIENDS

Every year, John and I go to see the lights at Garvan Gardens in Hot Springs.  (Click here to see last year!)  It is a fun tradition, and this year, it worked out for us to go with most families from our community group.  (We missed the Heads dearly!)

We took our group of 23 to the Purple Cow, and they ushered us into their party room.  What a major score, especially without a reservation.  The kids ate at one table, and the adults were mostly at another.   It meant containment, and we weren't disturbing other guests.  A win, win, win.

After dinner, we headed to see the lights.  The girls were beside themselves with excitement, especially as we were driving in.  They kept yelling "Christmas!  I see Christmas" and "Christmas Trees" - though it should be noted that when Bella says "Christmas" it sounds more like "Kiss-mas" which is super cute.  Here are kids from 4 of the families.  Bella was not digging picture time.

After skipping the kids' picture, Bella wanted to also skip the family picture, which we would not let her do.  So, we got this awesome gem of a shot with her trying to bite John/slide out of his lap.  Cracks me up.

There were about 40 billion people there since the weather was nice, so keeping track of everyone was quite the event.  The kids had a great time and loved being all together.

The giant tree synced to music was enchanting.

As usual, it was beautiful and gets us into the holiday spirit.  If you are in the area - I highly recommend it!
